Think of your resume as the landing page of your personal website. You only have a few moments to capture the attention of the reader. So make it impossible to miss the important stuff.

If you've never had a job in tech, I recommend this structure, from top to bottom:

1. Name + contact info
2. About me
3. Skills
4. Portfolio Projects
5. Education
6. Experience

If you have had a job in tech, I recommend this structure:

1. Name + contact info
2. About me
3. Skills
4. Experience
5. Education
6. Portfolio Projects

Basically we want your best stuff towards the top. If this is your first job, your portfolio projects are your best stuff. If you've had a job in tech, your work experience is your best stuff.
